Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Helix app, published by Hive Labs AI LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using Helix, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

Not medical advice. Helix provides general fitness and wellness information generated in part by artificial intelligence. It is not medical, psychological, or nutritional advice, does not come from a licensed professional, and is not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting or changing any exercise, nutrition, or supplement program. Helix does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. If you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

1. Who can use Helix

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Use Helix only for lawful, personal purposes.

2. Health & safety

Exercise and dietary changes carry inherent risks. You use Helix’s guidance at your own risk and are responsible for exercising sound judgment. Stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, or discomfort and seek professional help. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Helix Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase (monthly or annual), and where offered includes an introductory free trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple Account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Purchases, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple under Apple’s Standard EULA and terms; we do not process payments.

4. Your content & data

Your data stays on your device as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your own backups (Helix offers export in Settings).

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app: no reverse-engineering except as permitted by law, no attempts to disrupt or abuse our hosted services or rate limits, and no use that violates the terms of any connected third-party service (such as WHOOP, Oura, or Apple Health).

6. Third-party services

Helix integrates optional third-party services (Anthropic for AI, Apple Health, and wearable providers you connect). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Intellectual property

Helix, its content, and its software are owned by Hive Labs AI LLC and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. You retain ownership of the data you enter.

8. Disclaimers

Helix is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that insights or estimates (including nutrition, calorie, or readiness figures) are accurate or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hive Labs AI LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health outcome, arising from your use of Helix. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the app, or discontinue features. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using Helix at any time by deleting the app.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
